Let’s start by saying a few words about what formaldehyde<\/strong> is, since it is still a topic unknown to most people, despite the fact that it has no small relevance and impact on everyday life.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What is formaldehyde?<\/strong> It is a pollutant defined as ubiquitous, since we are practically always surrounded by it: in cities and along roads because of traffic, in homes and offices because of cigarette smoke, in furniture, since it is present in particleboard, plywood and glues, in food, cosmetics, packaging, and the glue used in books and magazines. Of course, this problem is dealt with by legal regulations: in fact, the World Health Organization has established a maximum acceptable concentration limit for formaldehyde. According to the decree in force in Italy, products whose equilibrium concentration of formaldehyde exceeds the value of 0.1 ppm (equal to 0.1 parts per million – ppm), or 100 micrograms \/ metrocube, which corresponds to the limit set for class E1, cannot be introduced into the market. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
