The Solidarity Village of Mirano
The Mirano Solidarity Village is a project that saw its official start a few months ago, after long months of work by managers and organizers.
In the small town in the Province of Venice, the Cav. Guido Gini Onlus Foundation built a modern residential center with the aim of creating a community that would bring together a range of people with mental/physical disadvantages, economic disadvantages, minors in need, and supportive families willing to lend their help in community life.

Our contribution was to be able to provide the Village with what we obviously found easiest, which was our wood flooring to make the new dwellings even more pleasant, not only aesthetically but precisely in a functional way.
The Village will be developed in the historic complex of the nineteenth-century Villa Boldù-Grimani, covering an area of 19,000 square meters, including 5,000 square meters of covered spaces and 14,000 square meters of green spaces including gardens, sports fields and a centuries-old park, some of which are open to citizens. The Village will come to accommodate about 80 people, who will be able to inhabit and make alive the spaces that the Village offers them.
Our company was directly represented by Giancarlo and Rosanna, who were personally involved in the operation and present at the opening night and for whom flattering words were reserved on the part of the management:

From the first meeting with Ms. Rosanna and Mr. Giancarlo, to the various meetings and phone calls with Ms. Mariagrazia and the warehouse and transportation staff, to the owners’ visit to the facilities-these events introduced us to a truly special enterprise. Each of these people was kind, sensitive and did so much to contribute to our initiative. Our strongest and most sincere THANK YOU to the whole Berti , an enterprise built on values and people!
Of course, we will continue to follow the evolution of the Solidarity Village, supporting and encouraging all their activities. Well done guys, keep up the good work!
