Diesel Living with Berti: great success at the Salone del Mobile!

It has just ended for Berti Pavimenti Legno the wonderful experience at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, for the third consecutive year alongside Diesel within the prestigious furniture and lifestyle project Diesel Living.

The concept of this edition bears the title “Pretty Vacancy“, an imaginary journey through desert roads with a bare landscape but full of possibilities to be seized. So reads the official Diesel Living 2017 poster:

Materials such as wood, stone and metal compose strong interiors and durable exteriors. Minerals come directly into the house from the surface of the desert. A rigorous sense of the contemporary reflects the linearity of the 1920s and 1930s, along with the earthy fusion of home and nature drawn from the 1950s and 1960s.
In the empty spaces, a land of possibilities emerges, a desert landscape…

Numerous attendees from all over the world and lots of positive feedback after presenting the new additions to the catalog, not only in the traditional location of the Salone in the Fiera area in Rho but also in the city center for the Fuorisalone, with an exhibition at 14 Correnti Street that also featured several related events. HERE one of the video reports taken from Diesel Living’s official Instagram account.

The first hotel concept was unveiled at the show, with an actual reception desk to welcome visitors: “a full range of Diesel Living offerings creates a haven characterized by the introduction of an unexpected touch, for the good life.”

At the Fuorisalone, however, it was the turn of the Pop-Up House “In the heart of Milan’s most historic neighborhood, the former atelier of a 1930s goldsmith has been transformed and its artisanal workshop spaces have been revisited and imagined as apartments, in the Diesel building.

There were three products from the Diesel Living with Berti collection, the two most recognized by the public, namely TRUE INDIGO and NATURAL SHADOW, and this year’s brand new BKLEACH.

TRUE INDIGO is strongly representative of the Diesel Living world: the oak planks are naturally stained the color of Denim, leaving the wood grain clearly visible.

NATURAL SHADOW was the absolute star at Fuorisalone, with a contemporary look but interpreted in a geometric composition with a classical matrix.

BKLEACH, on the other hand, is the new product with homeliving and urban features: an expression of modernity and contemporary living.

Among the many views from industry insiders and media, we also received an interview (which you can see HERE) from I Love Parquet to Matteo Berti, who talks about the development of the Berti Pavimenti Legno collaboration with the famous brand led by Renzo Rosso, which was also present at the Milan event.

The official hashtag was #diesellivingwithberti and for the occasion the official Facebook page dedicated just to our activity with Diesel was also launched, you can see it HERE and follow all the evolving news. Stay tuned!
