All the news at the Sales Meeting

Here we are, reunited with our Sales Force Italy, which from north to south, including the islands, has reached Berti Pavimenti Legno.
The Sales Meeting, has always been for us, a fundamental and valuable moment to discuss achievements and steps taken, outline new strategies, analyze specific or general problems, share experience and do professional updating.

The undisputed star of the day was I-Wood. The new collection of interior flooring and wall coverings in oak wood, distinctive for its ultra-thin structure and extra-strong protective surface finish, combined with an aesthetic concept with a strongly contemporary feel.

I-Wood Flooring and Siding

The evolution of the wood flooring concept is called “I-Wood”: a flooring system made of real natural oak wood. Innovative and modular, this collection speaks a highly contemporary aesthetic code as an expression of Italian-ness. The innovative character of I-Wood has many souls: ideal as vertical and horizontal wood coverings, it is the affordable and sustainable solution for those who choose wood to furnish.
Finally, a wood flooring solution with a flexible and versatile nature. In only 10mm thickness, high-level performance is guaranteed, especially in terms of durability. In fact, I-Wood is a “high traffic” certified product (Class 1 reaction to fire, BFL s-1). How is this possible?

The first layer of noble wood (of only 0.6 millimeters)
combined with the 7-ply cross laminated birch plywood intermediate support (of 8.8 millimeters)
combined with a counterbalancing layer of wood essence (only 0.6 millimeters thick)
is protected by 7 layers of the innovative “XstremeStrong” finish, designed and developed by Berti.

To confirm the stability and reliability of the I-Wood range of wood coatings, the finishes were tested according to UNI EN standards. The result of the “taber test” confirms that I-Wood is 100 times stronger. In fact, this international test for measuring the abrasion resistance of varnishes, expressed in the form of the number of revolutions required to completely consume the varnish and affect the protection of the wood, confirms that Berti’s special “XtremeStrong” varnish has an abrasion resistance of 200 revolutions, that is, 100 revolutions more than the average on the market and established by the UNI 11622-1:2016 standard.

The collection. Vibrant and versatile design

In collaboration with Diesel Living, we offer I-Wood in the digital print version. A state-of-the-art printing technology using non-toxic, non-flammable and odorless colors. Thanks to a water base, the color penetrates the essence by not including the wood grain and is incredibly UV-resistant-the result is a perfect visual and textural integration.
