In the vibrant context of Arkeda 2023, the major Neapolitan convention exhibition of architecture, construction, design and furniture in the center of the Mediterranean, Berti caught the attention of architects, designers and industry professionals by presenting I-Wood, the new collection of wood flooring and wall coverings.
Real wood for state-of-the-art floor and wall coverings
Functionality, design and eco-sustainability were the key words for the development of I-Wood. A revolutionary version of the floor, designed for those who choose wood to furnish. The versatile nature of this product makes it perfect as a floor covering, thanks to the lightness given by the total thickness of 10.2 mm. The first layer of noble wood, combined with birch backing and premium wood counterbalance, is protected by the innovative XstremeStrong finish: the most advanced coating technology for a perfect combination of production know-how and Made in Italy quality.

It is precisely the XtremeStrong technology that is the highlight of this collection. A state-of-the-art coating system, designed and fine-tuned by Berti, that guarantees exceptional resistance to wear marks, such as those of heels and pets, and very high water resistance. At the conclusion of the 3-day fair, participation in the 10th edition of Arkeda was an excellent opportunity to connect with new architects and industry professionals who were able to appreciate the innovation and quality of the materials presented, and contributed to positive feedback on the new I-Wood.
