Archichef Night in Belgrade: when architecture meets cuisine.

Archichef Night in Belgrade was the event that hosted Berti Pavimenti Legno as a partner. Let’s find out more.

It was a dinner/event hosted by Homa Restaurant and brought five architectural firms from the Serbian capital behind the stove, thus intersecting culinary creativity and flair with architectural design.

Each architect selected his or her favorite recipe, or the one that could best describe the salient features of his or her practice, being responsible for choosing the individual ingredients and also devising the final presentation of the dishes. At the end of the preparation, the chosen dish and its preparation was narrated. There were five studios involved in this first Serbian stage: AA Studio, Art Machine, Atelier Petrovic, Draft Architects and Studio Sinestezia.

Berti was pleased to be one of the special partners in this initiative along with other excellent Italian design companies, while the prestigious Elle Decor and Architonic served as media partners.

After Belgrade, the 2016 edition of Archichef Night continues in London in July, Copenhagen in September, Palermo in October and finally, in December, Bolzano.

Archichef Night is the brainchild of TOWANT, an agency dedicated to organizing architectural events in Italy and abroad, which collaborates with some of the most important Italian and international design brands. In addition to ArchichefNight, among the events organized in recent years are the EuropeanDesignFoosball, a European design table soccer tournament; Beachdesign, the first Italian architecture beach marbles tournament; and DJArch, parties in design showrooms where the DJ is the architect.
